In 2000, at Christopher Newport University, someone needed a DJ. Equipped with a couple of speakers, a mixer and two CD players he used in high school to DJ parties, Chris Rice said he could do it. Little did he know what that decision would start.

Using the DJ skills he developed while in college and the life skills he's learned since, Chris would go on to create Music Makes You Happy Entertainment in 2011.

 

What started as a simple DJ company in Hampton Roads with one employee, Music Makes You Happy Entertainment has grown to include offices in Richmond as well as Coastal Virginia and currently employs 10 people. And, while we still offer some of the best DJ's in the area, we can now do so much more!
